"In Spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt" - Margaret Atwood

I can't believe its already May (tomorrow!) and the month Baby Girl is due!
We've been trying to enjoy life as a family of 4, and have loved the weather getting gradually warmer. As usual, Max loves to be outside 24/7 and Jack is definitely following in his big bro's footsteps. Most days end with the boys stripping down by the back door in an attempt to leave the sand, dirt, mud and plants outside : ) It's glorious!

Let's backtrack and be thankful there is no longer snow on the ground!

Snow Day in March!

Such a great idea! Until he stood up and landed face first in the snow.
Sledding ended shortly after that..

Happiness... for both kids pictured here ; )

Jack wasn't too sure at first, but it grew on him!

Max loved running after the sled and then back up the huge hill.. this kid has too much energy!

Post face plant in the snow... still smiles for Mommy : )

Indoor Fun

Everyone love legos!

Jack is learning from Max and becoming quite the pro!

 Science Projects.

Fun at Nana's in the snow!

"There's the snowman!"

It was a busy month. In anticipation of our growing family,
we got a minivan and I'm not sure who loves it more, Max or Justin!

I started nesting and so Justin started doing projects in the house... off to Home Depot!

Jack, holding his own... oh boy!

For WEEKS and WEEKS Justin and I looked forward to going away to the beach, just the two of us, for one last trip before Baby Girl came. It was ONLY made possible by Sandy and David keeping both of the boys for two nights.... I know, I know, I have the best inlaws : )

It was just as amazing as we knew it would be!
Lots of sleeping in, reading, relaxing, going out to dinner and being kid free : )

April brought some rough days, with the stomach virus attacking our house with a vengeance. We experienced for the first time, the horrible experience of both Justin and I being sick, while taking care of a sick kid. Thankfully, Justin and I got over it quickly and Max never got it, but Jackson went up and down for a week, poor thing. I stayed home on Easter with sicky-poo while thankfully Justin and Max got to celebrate with the Harbins!
  Thankful for Mommy's tummy!

Max and Pappy waiting for the Easter Egg Hunt to start!

Finally we were all well, and it was back to normal shenanigans!

  Beautiful evenings means family walks!

Getting into muddy trouble...

Talking about the flowers with Nana.. hooray for Spring!!

Snack Time= Favorite Time!

"Excuse me, I need to take this call..."

We gradually prepared for the arrival of Baby Girl. When it's your third kid, it's not quite as dramatic and stressful.. thankfully! Max found the rocking chair in our room one morning and I came out of the shower to find him in his new bed. : )

This week was the last day that Max and Jackson will spend at their Nana's and Pop-Pops while I work... for awhile! Their last day was a busy one- Max, as usual, was Pop-Pops helper and worked hard dumping many many loads of cut grass into the garden.

In between his work, he stole some Jackson snuggles..

So much love. So much tolerance.

Back to work!

Celebrity sighting! An hour after we left their house, my Dad came over to drop off his lawn mower and the boys hung out the window for 15 minutes yelling Pop-Pop....
Maybe someone should teach Jack to say Momma! ; )

39 Weeks and Counting!!
