Flashback to sunshine

Here we are, fully ensconced in pumpkin hugging and chilly nights, and I have yet to post about our super amazing beach week in August! So before I dive head first into fall-y/turkey/holiday posts, i MUST finally post the pics from our amazing beachy time. For those of you who miss the heat.. this one's for you. (Mom!) :)

In our new van and ready to ROLL!!

Lots of kiddos... lots of miles to go...

Hubby.. check! Couldn't do it without him- he keeps me laughing :)

First stop.. ridiculousness with Auntie Sarah at the playground

So happy that Sarah was there to help with the wee ones!

Mom and Dad hosted us all and we always love relaxing around the beach house.

 Buddies

Best spot in the house.

Abigail has a good life.

AND THEN... our first BEACH DAY!!

Uncle Garon prefers to play in the sand independently (the same way he has for over 20 years), but he is so wonderful with Max and Jack, letting them climb all over him and dump out his slowly filled bucket of sand!

Sleepy time for everyone

Love. Forever.

Garon's favorite place!

Me and my little beachy sweetheart.

The caption for most of these pictures should just be "fearless". The boys really grew up since last summer and both had visions of conquering the waves, independent of hand holding and supervision! Thankfully Nana is quite vigilant :)

A happy boy and his Daddy: Adventures at Sea

So happy :)

I cant even.

The sharing of Garon's bucket continues...

Living dangerously.

Grumpy McGee

Oh look who we found as we were driving home from the beach!

Hanging out with Garon at the pool!

Chill time!

So.Many.Snuggles.

Reading time with Uncle Garon

This is the man who makes it happen! This looks so ridiculous in a picture, but when you are living it you are like "we don't have enough stuff, where are all the extra towels!!!"

Now we play "Pass the baby".

Justin won.

Sandy wet hugs are the BEST.

This little fishy conquered the pool thanks to these swimmies!

Pop-Pop was always there to hold a baby, diffuse a post dinner meltdown, or chase after a toddler! He's the best! (Sarah's post dinner meltdowns are not for the faint-hearted.)

Two peas in a pod.

Garon catching an alligator. Not really. Maybe some algea?

Grandmother stayed in a new ocean front hotel right on the Bethany Boardwalk and her sister, Suzy, stayed with her! It was so wonderful to visit with her on the beach and boardwalk.

Laughing with Aunt Suzy :)

We love it when Aunt Diane and Aunt Jan are at their beach condo in Fenwick Island. So fun to visit!

Fisher's Popcorn snack on the way home. Oh yummers.

 Another beach day!

We celebrated Dad's birthday in the Crab Shack!

Dad and Grandma :)

Before we knew it, it was our last beach day.

Making it look easy since 2012.

My world!

I'm sensing a new profile picture.

 A boy and his beach.

"Everything the light touches..."

Beachy secrets with Nana!

This face. This is why we get up early, stay up late, pack the van for the beach, unpack the van from the beach, clean sand off everything, get up early, change diapers on a sandy towel, get up early... you get the idea. Totally worth it.

I love us

Oh wait! We can't leave the beach without riding the BB trolley. Phew. Done.

Beach Hair. Don't Care. See you next year!
