Six Years and Counting!!

June 21st was our 6th Wedding Anniversary wahoooo! Our Wedding Day was amazing and we had no idea how crazy awesome our life would be : )

It's been an exciting 6 years and we got to celebrate this year by being children free for the first time since Jackson was born. So of course we went to the BEACH! We dropped off Jack at my Moms and Max at Sandy and David's and drove to the beach late Friday night.

Aww the beach house always welcomes us : )

This is what being on the beach with no kids looks like.

Paradise

So much free time. Books, selfies and french fries.

Heading out to dinner at yummy Sedona restaurant!

Anniversary book to write down how we celebrate each year

 Love Bugs

We had such a fun time getting away- thank you to the caregivers for the weekend!
Jack and Max were happily entertained : )

Lots of work to do at Grammy and Grandpa's house

"Come on up Gramps!"

Jackson's Baptism

Jackson was baptized on Father's Day and we celebrated with family at our house afterwards with a big bbq! Despite Max's shananigans during the actual baptism (picture a two year old's complete heartbreak and subsequent meltdown at not being allowed to play up on the altar and run down the aisles as desired), it was a wonderful day. The only thing we could have done to improve it was video tape the baptism so we can show Max when he's older and laugh at him. I mean with him. : ) Oh parenthood. Things don't always go as planned!

Jackson's Godparents: Aunt Meaghan and Matt Guy, Justins long time friend.

So handsome, and so naughty  : )

I love this one of Jackson watching Meaghan.
"Aunt Meaghan, do YOU know what this is all about?"

So thankful my Dad got to baptize Jackson, just as he did for Max.

The baptismal water is super tempting....

Time to meet your church family!

Praying for Jackson. Max seems to have calmed down so we close our eyes to pray...

And then this happened.
The church photographer probably couldn't believe his eyes... so he just kept snapping pics haha!

Then we have "Uh oh my hands are wet".....

And then "OH NOOO my hands are wet waaaah!"

Pout.

As Max is whisked away to the nursery as quickly as possible, Jackson sends his beloved big brother a forgiving look. Max accepts and is on his best behavior for the rest of the day.
Jackson continued to sit with us for the the rest of the service like a perfect little angel : )

Time to party like its Father's Day: Food, family, games and relaxing outside!
