Maxaroni :)

This past weekend was so packed and fun! We celebrated Princess Abigail's 1st Birthday on Saturday (pictures to come!) and Mothers Day on Sunday (also pictures to come soon!). I know, I like to keep everyone waiting. It's super fun. :)

FIRST, in honor of Mothers Day... i'm FINALLY doing a blog post in honor of the handsome boy who first made me a mother a little over 4 years ago. This counts as his 4th birthday blog post.. just 3 months late!

Here we are on our Mother's Day lunch date this year- such a little handsome thing!

MAXWELL LAWSON- I can't even put into words how much joy he brings us! We have loved every single stage, which sounds like I'm trying to make our lives sound perfect, but I'm not, its just the truth. We have definitely had it easy with him! Just like I said when he was a baby, and then at 1, 2 and 3 years old.. I think that THIS YEAR is my favorite with him so far! Watching him grow and learn and make friends makes my heart just burst. He is so inquisitive and full of life and also kind of sensitive.. he's just perfect :)

  He loves:
- talking nonstop about everything in the world especially about how things work
- going to Tiny Tots Nursery School- he's very proud of himself!
-the beach (is it summer yet?!)
-discussing the shooters he will get on his 5 birthday
- watching The Factory Show (How It's Made)
- building and designing things
-picnics. all day every day.
- going to Nana and PopPops for the day while Mommy and Daddy go to work!
-helping Justin with any and all projects
- drawing maps
- riding his bike around the block
-outdoor adventures
- taking pictures
- sleepovers at Grammy and Grandpas
-Christian (his bff at Tiny Tots school!)
- going to Target with Mommy (he knows my heart)
-wrestling with Daddy
- discussing what he would like to buy at "Toys R Us, Toys R Babies"
-hunting deer outside with sticks

A look back... because this is how I process him growing up... :)

Hard to believe that this room was once empty and just waiting for him to arrive!

Last picture of non-Daddy Justin!

awwwwwwww

HAHA! Will always love this!

"So when's our first sleepover?"

"Lets go home... this seems pretty easy!"

"Hi Aunt Sarah! Let's go to Target!"

My first mothers day as a Mommy!

Baptisms are so FUN!

Grammy and Grandpa sleepovers- yaay! Fun for everyone, especially me and Justin! :)

The Mouse Trap phase

Last family outing as a family of 3... to the ER! Super exciting. Max cut his finger open with a can lid on Jackson's due date and we spent the evening in the pediatric ER getting stitches. Eek!

He practiced diapering Frog and then all he could do was wait....

"So this is what the fuss was all about?"

"Levers on the hospital bed! This IS fun!!"

Grammy will still give me lots of attention! <3

Happy 2nd Birthday!

Celebrity Sighting!

I'm just a boy, looking for deer in the backyard.

Happy 3rd Birthday to Max! (And 1st to Jackson!) We planned a big party and then it poured snow and so we partied with just us and Nana & Pop Pop :)

I know you are impressed.

Our family kept growing and all of a sudden Max was a big brother to TWO!

We went to New Germany State Park for a week with the Harbin clan and Max was IN HEAVEN. He still talks about "Cabin 10" :)
