The Harbins: Princess Abigail is 1!

This is so unreal.

I can't believe it's been an entire YEAR!

That went by so fast.

I can't imagine why... it's not like we were busy or anything.

It's official now. We've survived our first year as a family of 5 and it's pretty safe to say that it was our hardest, most tiring and absolutely BEST year yet! Boy have we been tried as parents this year :) I'm really proud of Justin and I- there are still some rough moments where there just are not enough hands to go around, but I think we've figured out what works for us and the kids, and life is really good!

This picture of us all sitting calming on the couch does not depict a normal day in our life, but I love it because its beautiful. So i'm using it :)

It helps that Abigail is pretty much the darlingest, sweetest snugglebug that there ever was! She loves her Mommy, thats for sure :) And i'm okay with that! Her days are full of her favorite activities- hugging, snuggling, pointing at objects to be named, saying 'uh oh', watching her brothers, cruising around furniture, turning off lights, squealing with Jackson, singing the wheel on the bus, and being adorable. She's at her Nana and Pop Pops most weekdays with either Max or Jack and is always very entertained! She's already successfully completed her first sleepover at Grammy and Grandpa's and is excited about her next one coming up in June :) Max and Jack were walking by their first birthday but I am happy to report that Abigail is NOT walking yet. She likes to stand up by her self and cruise around furniture, but no walking yet, which is fine with us!

Today was such a great day. I just got back from a run with Max and the whole time I kept thinking about how different we all are from a year ago tonight. Here's a look back at how Abigail changed our lives a year ago and completed our family :)

Daily snuggles ensued, but many of the snuggles happened in this carrier. There isn't as much lounging on the couch with a sleeping baby when you have two other little rascals running around and wanting silly things like attention and dinner!

We loved our visits with GG!

She was thrilled that I finally had a little girl and I'm so glad that they got to meet and be friends :)
