First Snow of the Season!!!

 What a great day!
The Christmas Cantata at church this morning was amazing and aptly named Appalachian Winter Cantata. We came out of church to find it pouring beautiful snow. The drive home was slow and snowy but then we got to spend the rest of the day inside our warm house and only ventured out to play in the snow for a bit.

FIRST OF ALL, tons of love goes to my awesome hubby for always doing all the snow maintenance needed (even when I'm not pregnant).

This year, snow maintenance included dressing Max in his snow gear.
Not an easy task but Max was excited and ready to go!

Here we go!

"Come on Daddy!!"

Funny story. We used this blue sled for Max last year.
Then it sat on our back porch all year and Max has enjoyed filling it
with water in the summer, sitting in it, etc.
I think this is Max saying "Ohhh" as he realizes its true purpose!

Makes me laugh so hard. Just chillin.

This is the life.. just getting pulled around the yard.

There is always so much work to do.

Here come the Holidays! : )

Hard to believe last Christmas Max was such a little nugget!  Let's reminisce : )

He was such a cutie patootie. I cant stand it!
Okay moving on to this year . And he's still the cutest thing ever. If you ask me. Or Justin. : )

Justin and I decorated the entire house and put up the tree while Max was napping
on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. He was quite surprised when he woke up all messy haired
and blurry eyed to find the house had changed!

Happy to have his own box of ornaments

Decorating the tree is such hard work.
All of the hanging up ornaments and not being allowed to pull on the beads. Ugh.

Sitting by the fire making his Christmas list... with the Home Depot advertisement. His father's son.

Learning the rules about the fire from Daddy.

This was me and Baby Boy #2 at 30 weeks.
.(Today I'm 31 weeks and exactly 2 months from my due date. Crazy.) I can still squeeze (barely) into this non-maternity Ravens shirt from my awesome sister in law Meaghan. She knew I had to have something Ravens to wear all season so she got me an XL that could stretch. I wear it every week!

Later that week we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Harbins:

Pumpkin pie and whip cream= Happiness

And then there is the stress that begins when the pumpkin pie is all gone... so sad.

Full bellies and a tired child.. time to say goodbye!

Officially Done.
Okay maybe I'll read one more book.

Goodnight everyone!

Yay December!

We celebrated Sandy's birthday tonight with the family. But first Max needed to do a little painting. I don't have a picture of the beautiful birthday cake he painted for his Grammy, but this is him working on his green and yellow abstract piece. He named it "The More Paint The Better".

Painting on his hand. Followed by "uh oh". Always.

This is right before he quickly shoved his whole hand in the paint. Game changer.

Haha that was silly. After many paper towels we are back to using q-tips.

Time for the birthday party!
Such a helper...

Beautiful new tree skirt made by Sandy!!

It is snuggle worthy- Max approves!

Aunt Meaghan's tree skirt is good for snuggling too : )

It's time for the Happy Birthday song- yay!!
Followed by delicious red velvet cheesecake. Life doesn't get much better than this : )
