Hello October!!

Au revoir summer months! We had a lot of fun together but I'm ready for the cool days of fall. All you cool weather haters can frown at me all you want, but I love that I can run ("walk fast") and play around outside with Max without dying from heat exhaustion! Max and Justin have been having all sorts of outside adventures over the summer, and I'm happy to report that my pregnancy sickness improves each week and I've been able to do more and more fun things with Max recently. I am over 21 weeks along and we are counting down the weeks until we become a great big family of 4! Here are some pics to update you on our recent life..

In case you missed it, we found out that we are having a baby boy!
Max and I went shopping for his little brother : )

Typical scene in our house: Max acting like his Daddy

Also typical: If I am vacuuming then so is Max... and sometimes wearing his life vest
Lots of helping

Vacuuming with Grammy

 Loves his Mommy!

New skill.. mainly exciting because it involves squeezing toothpaste onto the toothbrush.

Another new skill.. taking off his shirt and socks. Not always at the appropriate time.

Sometimes you just have to take a selfie. I think we all understand that.

I love seeing what Max and Justin get into.. or hearing about it after the fact!
Telling secrets on the walkie talkie

Hangin out with some geese

"Helping" in the garden by eating all the tomatoes within reach

 Stylin

This is my favorite. Its just so typical. Justin was outside digging a trench and took Max with him. I come outside to find them both working very hard.. on different projects.
I love this pic- the excited smile, dirt everywhere, raspberry juice all over his face, and more raspberries in his hand.

Mommy tries to be fun too.. time to color!
It's incredible unfair that we are only allowed to color on paper.. sigh. This face is him continuing to point to the chair and check with me about whether he can color on it.

Coloring mostly involves taking whats left of the crayons in and out of the mangled box.
whatever works!

My handsome boys took me out to breakfast one beautiful morning in downtown Bel Air.
I love where we live!

Family party with the Harbins!

Also from the Harbins.. Max's new rocking horse!
This horse was used by Justin's Dad and then by Justin. Max loved it from the minute he saw it. He likes to rock really hard and hum his own version of Rockabye Baby.
