Jackson is one week old!! As of Thursday, we've known him for a week but it seems like so much longer! He has been a dream baby this first week. He sleeps and eats like a champ and is adorable and happy when awake. He's even had some nice stretches of sleep over night for us- 3,4, and even one 5 hour stretch! In honor of spending Valentine's Day in the hospital with Jackson the day after he was born, here is his 1 week pic:
This was a fun and exciting week. Here's a look back at Jackson getting to meet some of his fans : )
Aunt Meaghan lives minutes away from GBMC so she was able to make it through the snow to greet Jackson on the day he was born!
The next day Justin and I relaxed all morning with Jackson- not quite sure what to do with ourselves with all of the free time! Then in the afternoon, my good friend Jenny Falcone came to meet Jackson, followed by Justin's Dad.

Finally after 9 months of waiting, and lots of talking about the baby in my belly, Max met his little brother!

After greeting Jackson, Max moved on to more exciting things like opening his new books...
...and playing with the hospital bed controls.. woohoo!

Justin took Max home for a normal evening at our house and then came back in the morning to pick up me and Jackson. Just like with Max, we had to snap a few pics before we left the hospital.
We came home to a clean house (Yay- thank you Mom and Dad!) and had a few hours to ourselves to relax before Max came home. Sarah also flew in that day and the fun began!
Sarah had her flight planned for months, and it ended up being perfect timing. She got to meet Jackson when he was just a few days old and she was an AMAZING help all week- playing with Max all day and snuggling Jackson all evening. She gets her own blog post about her week with us! Coming soon : )
