Big Boys Rule, Babies Drool.

It is almost exactly 3 months until Baby Harbinette is due to arrive!! We have been busy TRYING to prepare ourselves, if there is such a thing. Well we've at least thought about trying to prepare ourselves. Before the holidays, we wanted to make sure Max was settled into his new big boy bed. Here are the fun pics from before the holidays when we finally switched him to the twin.

We (or maybe I) dragged our feet in regards to switching him from a crib to a real bed. It wasn't even due to a sentimental feeling of not wanting him to "grow up". It as purely selfish and I did not want to ruin the great thing we had. He is SUCH A GOOD SLEEPER. I can not emphasize that enough. He's seriously slept through the night since he was like 8 weeks old, and then naps all afternoon every day. He would wake up in the morning or after a nap and just lay there in his crib, hangin out and thinking about life until we came to get him. So we waited. And we milked it for all it was worth. #NoRegrets Besides, babies grow up too fast anyway haha ; )

BIG. DEAL.

There was serious work involved, much to Max's delight.

Max and half of his animal stash that he sleeps with every night.
Reason #2 why he needed to switch to a bigger bed.

Here is the difference with kid #2. Max didn't even know the option of sleeping in a big bed existed for him until we told him that day.  On the other hand, Jack is already ready for his big boy bed.

My cuties.

There was a lot of clapping and cheering.
Max was cheering for his new bed.
Jack was probably cheering because of his close proximity to Max.

Cuteness.
This was before Justin realized (and then Aunt Sarah realized AGAIN),
that this bed is old and not made to handle adult weight.

So much happiness! And more clapping.

I'll end with these two pictures. Brotherly Love.
