BEACH WEEK- Sarah Arrives and the Madness Begins

All is well.. Aunt Sarah is here! WAKE UP AUNT SARAH!!

Jackson is happy to see her too!

Sarah spent the first day trying to make up for all her time away from her cutie nephews...

Making Max happy:  Trips to the playground...

...Wrestling....

...Watching Frozen...

... and SNACKS!

Sarah orchestrated an after dinner ice cream and toy buying trip.

Teamwork

Late night Frozen Singalong. Epic.
Dad didnt understand what was happening, but he stayed for the snuggles!
Pool Day : )
"I love this pool. WAIT I see a playground!"

Show Off

And then Sarah fell in.

Nana keeps Jackson happy and warm

It starts to rain and we are all freezing but the fun continues!

Dad and Garon arrived with Grandmother on Sunday night. Aunt Suzy and Uncle Tom graciously invited Grandmother to stay with them for a few days so we can all still have some vacation fun together. We headed to Tower Bay on Monday and enjoyed the first sunny day of our trip.

Garon is ready for some fun.

We love having helpers : )

One foot of water is perfect!

Justin is a great Daddy- he spent the first hour blowing up a number of fun options to float on/with!

Max thought this looked fun... and it was, for about 10 seconds and then he moved on.

That was okay with Mom and Garon! They floated around for a long time enjoying the sunshine. Bye!

BYE again- so much waving, they really must be going on a good trip.

This gives a better perspective of the nature of their trip. Inches from shore.

Grandmother, Aunt Suzy and Uncle Tom came for the show!

Chatting with GG (Great Grandmother)

Toes in the surf for the first time.. my little beach baby

I would have loved for this to be a cute picture of the boys posing with me in their matching swim suits, but instead its a Mommy moment of me discussing with Max his concern with the nature of Jackson's swim diaper.

Jackson wears a Nemo diaper?
No Max, he's wearing a Tigger swim diaper.
Me see. POOH. I want a Pooh Tigger diaper.
You chose to wear a Nemo diaper. You can choose Tigger the next time.
(Then there was lots of whining and tugging at jackson's bathing suit to try and get it off, jealousy grew, and then Max got distracted by the inner tube)

Inner Tube!

"Here I come water- watch out!"

"Okay I tried that."

Spinning > Swimming

Captain Jackson

Jack and Nana are concerned about what they see coming towards them...

It's a SHARK! Or dolphin. Or whale. TBD.

The job description of being a parent includes pushing children around on blow up animals that have no chance of staying up right but are ridiculously fun for the child. My version as a child was an impossible to ride blow up whale.

Isnt this so fun?!

I suggested that Sarah try and swim across the bay,

Chillin

Dad is always finding treasures wherever he goes.

A boy and his boat. And his bag of bay water.

So great, floating out in the middle of the bay with no one to interrupt us.

Oops we were discovered.

Max had other plans for us as he tried to pull us back to shore.

He eventually gave in and snuggles were had by all for a brief moment in time.

Lifeguards.

Garon had lots of fun laughing at our antics!

Smiles run in the family. LOVE THIS FACE.

Pop Pop taught Jackson how to jump the waves.

Such a fun day with everyone. I'm so thankful we finally have sunshine! More adventures tomorrow...
