I'm staying on vacation forever.

Welcome to my 101st blog post! I think Jackson was so excited about it that he wanted to get up nice and early to let me work on it. So here we are at 5:55am. :) Enjoy more fun photos from the past few days while I sip on my yummy coffee....

This seems like a good idea...

Technique.

Sarah comes to the rescue...

And Garon falls in! It's more fun to just relax on the lily pads.

Sarah and Dad think it looks easy so they give it a try. Hanging on it doesnt mean that you conquered it.

Is this how I should start?

Chillin.

Teaching Jackson how to swim.

Let me show you how it's done.

Professional.

Cutest guy in the pool!

Another BEACH DAY! Hello Sunshine. We love you.

Look at this awesome Daddy. Love him!

We like to get out on the beach when it's not crowded and Max can run free.
Sometimes that means coffee and breakfast on the beach which is my fav!

Just chillin with my breakfast and my Dad.

The aforementioned "running free":

The rest of the family usually joins us soon after. Every day around 11AM Sarah whisks Max off on an expedition that results in frozen yogurt and new toys.

We are so thankful to have such a chill and happy baby. Jackson takes naps in the stroller as we stroll on the boardwalk, then will sleep on the beach for a bit more, followed by play time in his portable bouncy seat (below), play time on the blanket, a trip down to the water to watch big brother conquer the waves, eat, repeat.

Meanwhile Max makes some friends and tells them "no!" when they dig a hole in the wrong place. Only accept perfection.

Look at this face. It's totally worth never sleeping in, dragging a ton of stuff to the beach, putting sunscreen on two squirming children (and a husband), and not getting to read any books. This is HAPPINESS:

"Are you watching, Mommy?!"

Sometimes you have to jump REALLY high to get over a wave.

Many children, including Max, seem to enjoy running in and out of the waves as they break on shore. Max likes to add a little extra excitement by running out of the waves right at someone and attacking them with a wet hug before running back into the ocean.

Nana's turn. She's always ready for a hug.

"Maybe Nana will be the one who finally lets me drink the ocean water.." LOL fat chance.

The Crew. Minus Dad, the photographer for the moment.

And then a rogue wave got us.

Jack got splashed in the face and needed his Mommy. : )

This is my favorite kind of picture- when people look so surprised by waves, as if they didn't expect to see one anytime soon.

Max spots Justin out in the ocean: "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD"

Out they go. Thats what Daddys are for.

Max is so excited.

  Wait for me!

Spectators

There is always time for learning.

Buddies

"Pop-Pop is so fun!"

Another wave! At least Justin isn't the least bit concerned haha...

Max looks like he is running into Sarah's arms but he was probably just getting up his speed so he could run around her and into the waves by himself. "No hands".

 My sweet boy

Watch out for the wave behind you!

Boy on a mission.

Garon LOVES the beach. The hot sand is the best!

Now it's 2:30pm and I'm finally finishing the blog post while the little boys are sleeping and Justin is fishing. Off to the pool when the boys get up!! Here's to pretending that vacation never ends. : )
